I'm glad you distinguish the one yaoi from the other. Because I too hate it when people make non-canon gay couples out of people who are straight. I think everyone has the right to be either straight and gay, and it's an insult to the writer to make them otherwise. I wouldn't want anyone making my straight guys gay. *shudder* It just doesn't feel RIGHT, and that's coming from someone who loves gay people. I especially hate DracoXHarry stuff, because it TOTALLY ignores how both characters are. Harry wouldn't date a girl like Draco, let alone a man. And Draco is a racist bigot. I know some in real life, and they're not hot or cute. They're despicable.

Of course, I also dislike it when people claim to hate ALL yaoi, because if it's canon, I'm all for it. ^_^ As long as that was what the author intended them to be.

Sorry. That was my mini-rant. Bit some people are quick to criticize both sides of the spectrum, and I think there's a middle ground to be explored.

And I find it interesting how boredom spawned all of this. So in a way you should THANK school for making you bored.

and yeah. Fanfic writers, TRY to keep them in character. Hate does NOT disguise love, most of the time. And Draco/Harry is just one of those who hate eachother. Draco isn't romantic, just pathetic.
