A Good Day?The first time Naomi heard "Beyond the Sea" she was standing in the ocean.  She wasn't sure WHY her father had brought the radio, but it was a nice touch.   He had finally gotten a day off from his job, trading stock, and her mother insisted on them going to the beach.

This isn't really fanart, but I put it here to be safe.

This week, Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey Mouse since 1983 passed away from complications of Diabetes.

Mickey is mourning.

No, I didn't use references. I drew this away from where there was references. I also lost my purple colored pencil, so that's partly why the background is screwy (also, no sharpener so I couldn't resharpen any dull pencil)

You can't tell, but the handkerchief saw "WD" for Walt Disney, his first voice.

I found out about Mr. Allwine's death just yesterday. It was very sad, especially since I absolutely LOVE anything to do with Mickey Mouse (Kingdom Hearts, classic Disney cartoons . . .), and, well, that's just sad. :(

RIP Mr. Allwine. Mickey and I will miss you.

Aw. :( That' so sad. The pic really helps get the feeling across. It's a sad drawing. Which is good, because it communicates what it's supposed to. :)

Thanks. I was trying to do that.

I wonder what Disney will do know? Will they put his shows on a temporary hiatus (out of respect or recasting) put in a few "In Memory" with the release of the next new episode and in KH:358/2 (yes, that's the title) or what?

Did you know Wayne Allwine's Real wife played Mickey?

But I'm glad you like and think it's sad.

I'm not sure. I'm sure someone could do the voice, but yeah, they'll probably wait a while to recast out of respect.

That's cool that him and his wife can do the same voice. :D Maybe that's how they met. 0_o

On the other hand, it was complications from diabetes so maybe they were already doing a little?

I don't know if it was before or after they met, (though maybe, Wikipedia says they married in 91)But now I get a smile when I see Mickey and Minnie interacting. Add in the KH2 Eskimo kiss, and this short... [link]
